Aztec Vase by Betty Woodman
I've recently had the chance of seing Betty Woodman's work and was totally impressed. I am aware that she is a leading figure in arts, namely ceramics and that her impressive work is present all over the world in some of the most important museums but I didn't know her and for me it was quite a discovery. Bett's ceramics totally leave the usual realm of ceramics and tranform into something totally different. The shapes, colors and spacial construction are outstanding and genuinely new. It is an immense pleasure to add her to my blog.
