Continuing to deal with future plans, I have been considering driving from Denver to Topeka, Kansas. Finding things to see in the long, flat plains of Kansas can be a challenge. If this trip happens, I'll probably get the book "Driving Across Kansas". I've done that route before and I remember stopping in Burlington, Colorado, just before the Kansas border. This is mythical ground, of course, and Old Towne is there to prove it! A very good gallery of personal photos here. And another one here!
And finally some touristy info here.

And why make the trip at all? A summery reason: visit with family. Any suggestions anybody?
