Imaginary Walls: Fred Sandback

I have recently watched a show about the Dia Museum in Beacon, New York. Some of the most striking pieces were Fred Sandback's Constructions, built of acrilic yarn but ressembling huge window glasses or imaginary walls. What an impressive manipulation of space and of the senses. Check for Fred Sandback page at the Dia Center and at Artnet, this last one with many other exhibitions. Sandback died in 2003.
