How to murder someone and not be caught

posted Monday, 2 May 2005
An English professor at Kansas State has been convicted for the murder of his ex-wife, who was about to move to California with the couple's daughter of 4. The professor was found guilty despite the fact that there were no material evidence against him. However, he had used the university computer to search the internet for "how to murder someone and not get caught". Tell tale Google!

I am quite impressed that the courts were able to sentence a man based solely on the evidence provided by a computer history. Did no-one think to ask if he had asked someone to help him if he was depressed or if the roles were reversed and he was helping a sick friend and what happened to his ex-wife, while terrible, especially under the circumstances, was simply an accident as most murders are nowadays.
