I have recently watched the extremely romantic Before Sunset. Just as with Before Sunrise, the dialogues are something else, a train at full speed. The two films complement each other and it is interesting how, after watching the second one, the first film makes so much sense. It is life at its best, reminding us of the French dialogue masters, such as Erich Rohmer. A total must, not only for incurable romantics but mostly for those who appreciate the beauty of words. And unlike Ethan Hawke's Jesse would put it - "I'm designed to feel slightly dissatisfied." - there is nothing to be dissatisfied about here.
