On a brighter note today, as I’ve spent yesterday’s evening at an outdoor bluegrass concert, promoted by KU’s Lied Center, in Lawrence, Kansas. This was an eclectic bluegrass band, the Allison Brown Quartet, that bundled together Latino, new music and what not. And despite the fact that they have performed at the Celtic Festival in Glasgow, I was not so taken by the group. But an outdoor Summer concert is always a memorable experience.
Someone said that most likely there wouldn’t be a piece of litter on the grass the next day and it was true. Three cheers to the public of Lawrence Summer Concerts!
