Hey, Burt, thanks so much! Trust me, though, we have been reading almost non-stop over the last several months!

The week to week guide was good in the beginning, but it fixates a lot on risks and dangers, so we eventually stopped reading it. Who wants to constantly worry about what could go wrong when you can instead think about how it will go right?

We've been taking a Bradley course and the instructor assigns a lot of reading. But of course it's mostly about birthing, not childcare, although there was a bunch of reading in the LLL book you site above. We're very much into the natural childbirth aspects of birthing. So much so that we decided to have a home birth with a lay midwife.

We've started to read a couple of chilcare books, in particular ones by Dr. Sears, which seems to follow our philosophies in a lot of ways, but we're only at the start of these. Things have just been so busy that it seems like there's no time to do all the preperation that we would like, although I'm sure we've done more than a lot of new parents.

Your offspring look great, it sounds like you've had a great time being a dad. I haven't thought too much about it at least in specifics because I know that whatever I can imagine will pale in comparison to the real thing, so why even bother! It'll be reality soon enough.

Thanks again, and sorry it's taken me a while to respond.

Levi

You're most welcome. We've had natural childbirth both times and I really don't see why people want to avoid it so much. When there are no complications it really is much better for all involved. All the best for the 3 of you!
