Tim Robbins, the Great
Tim Robbins is a great actor and he has become better over time. I can never forget his incredible work in Mystic River. More recently I was mesmerized with his acting in War of the Worlds, a film that has been very unfairly connected with Tom Cruise jumping on Ophra's couch. Some said it was a publicity stunt but hey, who wants that kind of publicity. I think the whole Tom Cruise and new girl in town thing was a distraction of the real thing: TIm Robbins character, a wannabe secondary role that became a major focal point and the whole enormous team that made the film come true. It is not my kind of film but it is well made and the team effort is so obvious and so perfect that not even a dumb Tom Cruise can spoil it.
As for Tim, I haven't seen his latest movies but I can't wait.
